Around Mariapfarr, there is a large network of well-signposted hiking trails. There’s something for every taste and every level of mountaineering ability.
A special highlight is the Weisspriachtal, one of the most beautiful side valleys in Salzburg's Lungau. In the TV show “9 Plätze 9 Schätze” (9 Places 9 Treasures), the Austrians even voted it the most beautiful place in Salzburg. 
There are also various themed hiking trails, which guarantee that our younger guests will enjoy themselves too.

The Lungau holiday region is a wonderful area for cycling, mountain biking and e-biking. The Murradweg cycle path isn’t just a destination for bike lovers – it’s also well-suited for casual cyclists and families with children.
Mountain bikers will love the exhilarating challenge of the Lunau EXTREM tour. And if you’d prefer to take it easy, then Austria’s highest e-bike region is the right place for you too!
